When to Pay

Fall 2008 fees are due 30 days from the date you register for classes or by August 20, whichever comes first. If you register after August 20, your fees are due the day you register; if not paid, a hold will be placed on your account the following day, preventing adds, transcripts, and other services. You will not be cancelled from classes immediately, however, you are encouraged to make payment immediately to confirm your registration requests and to avoid subsequent cancellation of all or some of your classes.

If you do not intend to attend the current term, you should drop all classes before the first day of instruction. If you drop all your classes once instruction begins, you will owe pro-rata fees based on the date of withdrawal. This also applies to students with financial aid fee deferments at the time of registration who later do not qualify for aid or decline aid.

To avoid cancellation of classes, you are strongly encouraged to pay your registration fees at the time you register. If you register via the web at "My CSULB", you may then pay your fees by E-check or credit card at the same time.

You are responsible for confirming your registration requests by making any payments necessary even if you do not receive a written bill or reminder of a balance due and deadline date.

Failure to pay your fees by your due date will result in the cancellation of your course requests.

Fees are subject to change without advance notice.

If you register for classes after the first day of instruction and are subsequently dropped for non-payment, you may still be responsible for a pro-rated amount.

If you register after instruction has begun, your basic registration fees will include an additional $25 non-refundable Late Registration fee.
