Voluntary Plans
A variety of voluntary group insurance plans are available to eligible CSU employees. The plans include term life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment, disability insurance, hospital income plan, cancer medical reimbursement plan, travel assistance, long-term care, automobile, homeowners and renters insurance. Premiums are paid by the employee and are payroll deducted.

Sanders & Associates was founded in 1958 and has been serving the CSU since 1964. Sanders & Associates administers a variety of plans designed to work in conjunction with the benefits already offered to eligible employees.

Standard Insurance Company
The Standard Insurance Company was founded in 1906 in Portland, Oregon and, on January 1, 2000 replaced CIGNA Group Life Insurance Company as the CSU's voluntary life insurance carrier. All eligible CSU employees may apply for coverage for themselves from a minimum of $10,000 to a maximum of $1,500,000, coverage for a spouse from $10,000 minimum to a $750,000 maximum, and coverage for dependent children from $5,000 minimum to a $20,000 maximum.
