The maximum accumulation of vacation leave credits are detailed in the vacation article of each collective bargaining agreement or management personnel plan, as cited above. Accumulation in excess of those amounts as of January 1 of each year shall be forfeited by the employee. Some agreements spell out circumstances under which an employee is permitted to carryover more than the allowable credits.
Note
there will be a row of data at the beginning of each calendar year that shows 0 hours earned. All employees, whether or not the carryover allowance has been exceeded, will receive a new row of data at the beginning of each calendar year to reflect the starting point for each year. This way you can see any adjustments that may have been made to your balances.
