Poster Printing, Mounting, & Laminating
The University Print Shop offers large format, full-color poster printing on a 42" wide Hewlett Packard DesignJet 5000ps. These brilliant photo realistic quality posters are suitable for any event/application where visual impact or conveying a message is important. We use UV inks that are fade-resistant for extended life and outdoor use. We stock a variety of different papers, including high gloss, bond, or heavy-duty banner material. Prices are based on the total square footage of the file or image. Square footage is figured: (Width X Height)÷144. Standard turnaround time is 48 hours. Larger quantity pricing is available.
In addition to printing your posters, we now have full capability of professionally mounting and laminating them as well. We can mount and/or laminate posters and prints up to 36 inches wide. We highly recommend laminating your inkjet poster prints, especially if they will be shipped or exposed to moisture. See page 13 for pricing.

Here are some helpful hints:
- Use high-resolution photographs scanned at 300 dpi or higher (TIFF or EPS formats are best)
- Low-resolution images, such as JPEG or GIF formats, will appear blurry and/or pixelated with unsatisfactory results.
- Use Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, or Microsoft Powerpoint for your poster layout.

Poster prices start at $6.50 per sq. ft. for printing on a heavyweight gloss poster paper.*
