Effective July 1, 2010, Cintas will provide exclusive campus wide document destruction services. Use of an exclusive provider will ensure compliance with information security and disposal standards and insurance requirements. This project was competitively bid to engage a professional, certified document destruction vendor with best pricing; as a result of the bid process the contract was awarded to Cintas Inc.
Departments have the option of submitting a requisition to the Purchasing Office or using a ProCard. To ensure you receive contract pricing contact the campus representative and provide the contract number below:

There is a $40.00 minimum for Cintas to service the campus. This is not a surcharge or a charge on top of the basic charge. If enough departments use the service, the $40.00 minimum will be met and there will be no extra charge.
Example: if one department only had one container (and they were the only department on the campus using Cintas) the charge for a 65 gallon container would be $10.00 per service (disposal charge) a charge of $30.00 would be added to make up the difference for the $40.00 minimum. If four departments had one container for $10.00 (per disposal) the $40.00 minimum would be met and there would be no extra charge.
Note: If a department has highly confidential material to shred and requires witness of destruction, please notify Cintas of your special need so the appropriate vehicle is provided for the service required.
