For several years, Telecommunications has supported mobile telephone service, and supports carriers such as Cingular Wireless and Verizon Wireless. Whatever amount the carrier charges the university for monthly service and phone calls, the amount is billed to the user without being altered.
Mobile telephones are associated with your campus extension for billing, and can be requested through a work order just like any other campus telephone. Telecommunications completes requests for mobile telephones when they are intended for business use.
