Network Services works with many groups on campus to provide security protection for our campus computing resources. From maintaining appropriate patch levels on servers, monitoring logs, and protecting servers on the network with Intrusion Prevention Systems and network behavior analysis, Network Services keeps a close watch.
Network Services maintains a variety of security tools to detect, analyze, mitigate, and in many cases prevent security incidents before they occur.
Our goal is to provide continue to enhance network security and data handling on all levels to protect our computing resources including network servers, desktop computers, network infrastructure, and sensitive data.
