Migrating @csulb Email Accounts to Office 365

Beginning Friday evening, January 5, 2018, the University will migrate all @csulb email accounts (faculty, staff, emeriti and volunteers) to Office 365 (O365). The move will relocate email, calendar, and contacts from servers located on campus to the Microsoft Office 365 cloud environment. This project site contains important information about the migration of your email services to O365.

After the O365 migration, you will see:

  • Larger mailbox storage, from 10 GB to 50 GB with an additional 100 GB for online archive capability
  • Access to Outlook on the web (formerly called Outlook Web App) through the campus Single Sign-On (SSO) service
  • Responsive design for optimized, mobile friendly Outlook on the web, email experience
  • New and enhanced email features

You'll continue to access your @csulb email, calendars, contacts and tasks as before by:

  • Outlook Client (Windows or Mac) configured for use on your campus and personally owned computers or laptops
  • Outlook Web App (also known as Outlook on the web, OWA, webmail) from standard internet browsers on desktops, laptops, or mobile devices
  • Mobile device or tablet (Android, Apple) with native email apps or via Microsoft's Outlook app for Android or Apple iOS
