What's New

The Directory Gets a Makeover

It's no longer the same old directory anymore! We have introduced a lot of enhancements to the printed directory that increase functionality and informational content, yet we have not changed the reliable content you've always known.

  • The cover design is all new, in color, and shows a unique view of the campus.
  • There are headers and footers on every page including those throughout the reference section.
  • Within the headers and footers of all directory sections, there is useful information regarding our website and other campus websites where appropriate.

We hope you enjoy using the directory and its new format!

New Shortcut Website Addresses

On the website and fax line listing, there are new shortcut web addresses (URLs) that departments may not even realize are available!

Submit Work Orders Online!

If you've ever used our website to create a work order online, you probably know that you have to print it in order to send it to your ASM (Administrative Services Manager) for authorization before they can submit it to Telecommunications for processing. This procedure can take up extra time, so we changed!

Submit your work order online next time you need an installation or disconnection.

Enhancements to your online experience!

The People Search feature on the main CSULB website is now getting updates from the database used and administered by Telecommunications. Find the latest updates when you search!

The departmental and alphabetical PDF files, available through the online Directory Table of Contents, contains bookmarks to help you get quick access to different sections within the files.

Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Contacts

We have cleared out the old Beat the Quake page and added a new Disaster Preparedness page. It can be found on the inside of the back cover of the printed directory.

This page contains:

  • Tips and information about websites that explain how to be prepared for an emergency.
  • Where to find the CSULB emergency information website to get campus-specific disaster and emergency information.
  • Links to other websites that could be very useful as well.

On the inside of the front cover you will find emergency contact numbers. During a campus-wide emergency, recorded information will be available by calling (800) 341-5505.
