How to use the Remote Mouse

The remote mouse will work as long as the 2-AA batteries are good.  To test the batteries, press any button and the LED light will flash. 

  • Video - Use this button if you have a VCR connected to the LCD and are showing a video
  • S-Video - pressed to select an s-video source from a VCR
  • RGB 1 - Press to select a video source from a computer connected to your RGB1 port.
  • RGB 2 - Press to select a video source from a computer connected to your RGB2 port.  Use this button to display the User 17 computer screen
  • Volume - controls the volume of the video or sound effects
  • Laser - Press and hold down the laser button to point at an object on the screen with a laser light.
  • Menu - Press the menu button to access Source Menu, Image Adjustment Menu, Power Menu and Settings Menu.  Use left click and right to make selections.
  • Directional Pad - the directional pad on the center of the remote mouse controls the mouse pointer you see on the screen.  
  • To select an item or open a program, single or double click using the button on the bottom of the remote mouse.
  • The button just below the directional pad is labeled R-click.  Click this button to see additional options.
  • Pic-Mute - To stop displaying on the screen for a short period of time, click the button pic-mute.  The screen will go black.  Click the pic-mute button to display the screen again.
  • Position - When the picture is magnified, press this button to magnify the mouse buttons that you can use to reposition the image in 8 directions.  When you are finished, press the right click button.
  • Freeze - This button will freeze a picture.  Press the button again to resume motion.
  • Magnify/Reduce - keeps the same parameters.  (+) Magnifies from the center of the existing screen.  (-) Reduces the screen.
  • Zoom - maintains resolution and expands (+) or reduces (-) the screen size
  • Focus - Using (+) or (-) adjusts the focus to bring clarity to the screen
