Environmental Health and Safety
SECTION 25915 of the Health and Safety Code requires that a written notification be provided to employees informing them of the presence of asbestos in buildings.

Facilities Management operates a fee for service or Chargeback operation as a means of cost recovery for non-routine facilities-related service requests. Recovering costs for non-routine maintenance through Chargeback ensures that the limited resources allocated to the University for maintenance are used solely to maintain the University’s physical assets.
