Facilities Management Mission

The Mission of the CSULB Facilities Management Department is to achieve excellence throughout the physical environment in support of the mission of the University. We achieve excellence through our leadership, teamwork, and commitment to continuous improvement in meeting and anticipating our customers current and emerging needs. Facilities Management employs a computer based preventive maintenance program. Preventive maintenance is periodic, scheduled work to provide adjustments, cleaning, minor repairs, and routine inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure a good serviceable condition and reduce interruptions of service. This maintenance is provided on a planned, scheduled basis.
