7th Street Connector Closing April 2011
Beginning the week of April 18, the 7th Street connection from the I-405 and SR-22 freeways into Long Beach will be closed for approximately 1 year.
This construction will impact a large percentage of those commuting to Cal State Long Beach.
The 7th Street connector closure is part of the West County Connectors Project, which will consist of new carpool lanes, two "flyover" carpool structures and reconstruction of several bridges.
