Construction Update
- Parking Structure 3 continues on track in Lot 11A (just north of PS2) for opening in Spring 2009.
- Lot 6 will have a new entry lane and dual exit lanes constructed this summer as well as striping & resurfacing of the lot. Access will be limited with a potential entry/exit off of South Campus Drive.
- Lot 8 will be closed until early 2011 due to PH 3 replacement.
- Lot 9 will be closed and under repair for the summer to include; drainage, resurfacing & striping.
- Lot 10 will be closed due to several projects in the NE part of campus and some minor lot repairs.
- Lot 12 will have some impact on its west entry drive due to the terrace area for the Carpenter Center being updated as well as a new marquee being built on the North side.
- PS 1 will have work done to its brick exterior on the north and south sides as well as some interior stairwell/lighting repairs and roof stall striping. Access will be available to the 1st floor parking areas.
Parking and Access Services is working through the summer to make more general parking spaces available as we review our space inventory, meter usage, carpool stalls as well as to improve our product and service to all 49’ers. Thank you for your understanding!
**For Fall 2008 return, please consider parking at the Marina Lot and and riding the Long Beach Transit Special Passport D CSULB Detour (aka Beach Cruiser) to and from the lot!
