Guest/Event Parking
The university requires a valid parking permit be displayed at all times while parking on the CSULB campus. If you are a guest or are attending an event at the University, you will need a permit to park.
Guests
If you are a guest of the university for a meeting, job interview or other University business with a department on campus, please contact the department you will be visiting for parking instructions and where to get your permit.
Event Attendees
If you are attending an event on campus, please first consult with your event host for parking instructions. If there are no instructions available, you will need to purchase a permit once you arrive on campus. Some events will have event staff who sell parking permits. If there are no event staff, you can purchase a daily permit or use the parking meters. Daily permits are purchased in the parking lot at the yellow permit dispensers.

All other permits may be purchased as follows:
If you are a student, staff, or faculty member purchasing a parking permit for yourself, please go to the Online Parking Services page to make your purchase online.
For Department Use Only
Guest Hosts - If you need a permit for a guest, you will need to submit a CSULB Guest Parking Permit Request Form. The types of permits requiring this form are:
- Guest Reservation Permit for official guests of the university
- Contractor / vendor parking permits
- Consultant parking
- Department-paid employee parking permits
- Overnight parking permits.
Go to the Guest Parking Request Form to request a permit for your guest(s).
