Parking Permits Distribution Update
To All Faculty and Staff:
Due to circumstances that are beyond our control, our shipment of some parking permits has been delayed. We take responsibility for this and the impact on the following user groups:
- Carpool (the new Carpool permit will be one piece)
- "E" permit renewal stickers
- President's Office items, guests.....
- Summer employee
- Annual or irregular use permits
- Others.....
Please continue to use your current permit for parking, No citations will be written for old permits until complete distribution in early June. Our goal is to alleviate the problem of our not supplying you with your new permits this May, so we will honor all current year's(07 -08) permits [Employee Permits, Carpool, President Ambassador's, etc] until we completely make sure that we distributed all the permits.
New this year to over 2,000 employees that are on payroll deduction, we have distributed Full-Year Permits, that are valid for 3 years, 2008-2011. Card keys are now without an expiration date as well for gate access. This option assists with efficiency as well as reduces your annual need to replace permits, wait, etc . We strongly encourage all Staff and Faculty to enroll in our PRE-TAX payroll deduction program.
