All CSULB Faculty, Staff and Student Assistants,
The South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) requires us to complete an annual commuter survey that asks one question: "How did you get to work this past week?"
As a commuter campus, every transportation choice we make is significant. This one week snapshot of our commute helps to determine what transportation service are offered, utilized or needed as well as the effect each has on the environment.
Last year the power of your response enabled the campus to reach our highest Average Vehicle Ridership in the University's history. Your individual and collective responses helped us to offer four new services: Real Time Shuttle Tracking, Enterprise Vanpool, Zimride Carpool, and Zip Car car-share program. Your response also helped us to continue the U-PASS, offering free rides on Long Beach Transit with your CSULB ID card.
How you personally get to and from work is extremely important to us. We very much appreciate you taking the time to respond to this survey.
If you have any questions, please contact the Rideshare Coordinator at 985-4091 / rideshare@csulb.edu
