- Ride 7 days a week, 365 days a year!

- All part-time and full-time students & staff that are currently enrolled or employed at CSULB.
- How do I ride for free?

Simply swipe your current CSULB Student, Faculty or Staff I.D. through the farebox machine when you board.
- Do I need a CSULB I.D. to ride for free?

Yes, you must have your CSULB ID card in your possession in order to board the bus and swipe the ID card in the farebox machine. The machine will only accept cards proving current Fall 2008 CSULB enrollment or employment.
- How will riding the bus make a difference for me?

You won't have to stress about finding or paying for a parking space or buying gas.

- How can I make a difference by riding the bus?

Every little bit helps reduce global warming - If you change a 10 mile commute from car to bus even just twice a week, at the end of 3 months, you will have reduced CO2 emissions by 219 pounds!

- Long Beach Transit has several stops on and around CSULB campus, and serves Long Beach, Lakewood, Signal Hill, and parts of Artesia, Bellflower, Carson, Cerritos, Compton, Hawaiian Gardens, Norwalk, Paramount & Seal Beach.
- I've never taken the bus before. How do I ride the bus?
- Riding the bus is easy, and saves you money on gas. You can plan your trip online with a Trip Planner that will tell you how to get from A to B at www.lbtransit.com. Or call Long Beach Transit’s Customer information line at 562-591-2301 Mon-Fri 7am-6pm, Sat 8am-3pm.
