RAPE AGGRESSION DEFENSE
Women's Self-Defense
Each semester University Police offer a women's self defense training class training class to members of the CSULB community. Rape Aggression Defense Systems (RAD) is a program of realistic, self-defense techniques and tactics taught in a comprehensive course that begins with awareness, prevention, risk, reduction and avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on self defense training. Courses are taught by certified RAD instructors in private environment. RAD is not a martial arts program. A purchase of the RAD textbook, at a minimal fee, provides a lifetime of training and instruction at any of thousands of RAD programs across the United States and Canada.
