CRIME UPDATE

--captured-- two composite images of suspect

On Wednesday, May 3rd, 2006, at about 4:45pm, witnesses notified the University Police of a positive identification of this assault suspect in the CBA area. University Police Officers responded and after a brief foot pursuit took the suspect into custody. Due to positive identification from the reporting victims, and from the suspect's statements, he was booked and held into the Long Beach Jail and officially charged with false imprisonment.

The University Police Department would like to thank the campus community for al of the reported leads, anonymous and in name, and for their continued efforts in assisting our department with the apprehension of dangerous individuals.
