Crime Alert

Attempt Kidnapping / Assault

The Cal State Long Beach Police Department is warning the campus community of the following attacks and is urging anyone with any information to contact Campus Police immediately at 562-985-4101, or to our Crime Tip Line at 562-986-5131.

    On Wednesday, November 15th, 2006, at about 6:30pm, a female student was walking through parking lot 11A towards the alleyway located behind the 7-11 convenience store. As she approached the alley from parking lot 11, she saw the two suspects standing in the alley. After she completed her shopping at the 7-11 she proceeded back to the rear alleyway. When she returned to the alleyway, the same two suspects were still at the location. Both suspects approached the victim where they assaulted her and attempted to pull her towards the tree line located in the north side of parking lot 11.

    SUSPECT: Suspect-2 Possibly Hispanic Male
    Age: Late 20’s
    Height: 5 foot 10 inches, Stocky build
    Hair: Shaved head down to the skin, Patch of hair that extended down from his bottom lip to his chin about one inch thick.
    Clothing: Dark blue sweater and black “Dickies “ type pants.
    Tattoo: on the back of his neck written in old English type lettering. Eyebrow piercing: on his left side with a bar and two studs on the ends.

    SUSPECT: Suspect-1 Possibly Hispanic Male
    Age:  Late 20’s
    Height: 6 Feet, Muscular Build
    Hair: Dark Colored Hair/Shoulder length Pulled back into a pony tail.
    Wearing: Black hooded sweater, Black “Dickies” type pants, and white tennis shoes with black stripes.
