How to Update Your Phone Number
It is important for everyone on campus to update his/her personal telephone numbers and to keep them current. This information will be used to contact you with critical information in the event that an emergency occurs.
- From the CSULB Home page, click "MyCSULB" in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
- Sign into the site using your user ID and password. If you have never logged into MyCSULB before, click "Activate Your Account" before logging in.
- Under My Menu, click "Student Center".
- Update your telephone numbers by clicking in the "Preferred Phone" field under the Personal Information menu.
- Please review the information listed for Home and Cellular telephone listings.You may also add your cellular telephone or any other text messaging device under the telephone type of "Emergency Alert Text Message" to receive emergency alerts. These devices will be contacted during an emergency so it is important to ensure accuracy of the telephone information.
Please note that carrier charges may apply for cellular calls and text messages.
