The implementation of a division wide Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is a major initiative aimed at aligning all DAF unit efforts with overall division strategic goals. A Balanced Scorecard aims at aligning the division's customer, financial, internal business, and employee learning and growth strategic goals by use of its inherent, systemic management approach. This involves setting detailed measures and targets for success throughout the various operational areas and levels of the division. The end result is a thoroughly quality-minded, results-oriented, and balanced DAF operation.
