SECTION 25915 of the Health and Safety Code requires that a written notification be provided to employees informing them of the presence of asbestos in buildings.

The Environmental Health and Occupational Safety Program at California State University , Long Beach serves to assist in the protection of faculty, staff, students and visitors by providing advice and guidance to university managers and supervisors to assist them in their responsibilities to actively engage in the protection of the health and safety of their employees.
