Information Security Management and Compliance
Any employee who believes that a collection of related activities or events provides evidence that confidential information could have been acquired by an unauthorized person is responsible for notifying their appropriate administrator, the office of the Vice President, Administration and Finance and the Information Security Officer (ISO) or Assistant ISO. After business hours, notification of a security incident should be made to the University Police Department (562) 985-4101. Generally, unauthorized acquisition of information is the result of lost or stolen electronic equipment or hacking of a campus computer system.
